Speed Skating Canada and Intact Insurance are partnering on a cross-country tour that will see World Cup, World Championship and Olympic medalists visit six communities across Canada from September 6-17 to help showcase the sport. 

 

We are excited to share that Toronto Speed Skating Club will be hosting the Ontario leg of the inaugural Medals on Tour event and we are excited to welcome Olympic medalists Ivanie Blondin and Jordan Pierre-Gilles!

Our event will be held on Wednesday, September 14th at our regularly scheduled practice times (from 6:45pm to 9:45pm).  

 

Skaters from other clubs (registered in ICEREG) are welcome to come and visit, see the medalists and skate with us!  

 

We have two skating sessions that evening:

1) 6:45pm - 8:15pm - beginner and development youth skaters 

2) 8:15pm - 9:45pm - intermediate and advanced youth and advanced adults
