Sponsoring the Markham Speed Skating Club is a great way to support young athletes as well as promote your business in the local Markham area. The club include both girls and boys and fosters a positive culture of personal improvement as well as a life long healthy relationship to sports.
We have many activities throughout the skating season where you can showcase your support including:
- Weekly practices and training - every Tuesday and Friday nights
- Girls Go Fast - special weekend for girls and women who come from across Ontario to focus on fun, training and speed skating. This year will be our 6th annual event.
- Markham Speed Skating Meet - Typically in the last half of December this Regional Speedskating meet brings hundreds of parents and skaters from across Central Ontario right here to the Angus Glen Arena in Markham.
